The world is a little dimmer today….a great photojournalist and even better person passed away unexpectedly. You will be missed Ken Stevens.
You were a quiet mentor of mine at the Muskegon Chronicle. While Greg and Kendra Stanley Mills were vocal and encouraging, you were the glue that kept the entire department humming along. You always had a smile on your face and an amazing, positive attitude.
You modeled how to be a good human being and a photojournalist. I would always laugh when you came back from a day of feature hunting to proclaim loudly to the staff that you had B3 (B&W) all sewn up.
