Ken, You will be overwhelmingly missed on this side of life. You were the one out of all of us that surly would live to be 100. When I saw you last fall you looked the same as you did in 1981. That was the year we all went on our way to begin our next journey in life.
We played on the playground as kids and all of us gathered on the playground and on the hill to play football. I remember standing outside of Bates waiting for the school buses to come and you threw my baseball mit up on the roof of the school. I cried and you were horrified. We spent a lot of time growing up together in Dexter. The day we planted the pine trees behind Wylie school, we also buried one of the Indian status from the library.
That would have been a good photo but very incriminating. Your passion with the camera was so strong and the pictures you took were incredible. In reading through so many kind posts and tributes to you, I am not surprised at how you have touched so many lives during your journey. I am glad we got to be kids together and thankful for getting to see you and your family last fall.
To all of your family, please know how much Ken was such a big part of our lives; our thoughts and prayers are with all of you!
